DCP trains artists to understand thier body, giving them the freedom to effortlessly transition between classical and contemporary.

The Dance Conservatory of Pittsburgh was founded over 14 years ago by two best friends: Danielle Pavlik and Mariah Mcleod.  Since then, the studio has grown to have over a dozen faculty members and has taught hundreds of students.

Time and growth have not changed DCP's original commitment to provide the finest pre-professional dance training in Pittsburgh.  DCP exists to foster an environment for self exploration, creation and discipline through the art of dance.  The Conservatory is a progressive learning institution taking a contemporary approach to classical technique. Because of this commitment, DCP offers an uncompromising education that is available to anyone regardless of their future aspirations.

Founded on friendship and a quest to  foster great artists.
